Every year the Broadview-Thomson community comes together to make sure our families experiencing financial difficulties can give gifts to their children in December.
At this time, we are in need of gift cards to give to our families in need, to spend at their discretion. We recommend cards in amounts of $50 or more, but any amount is appreciated. Simply drop off at the office, or mail to the school (Broadview-Thomson Giving Tree, attn: Lauri McVicar, 13052 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133). Suggested stores:
Our community has really stepped up this year and all requests (“tags”) have been spoken for! However, requests do tend to come in last minute, and we encourage you to contact us one of the following ways in case we need last minute help:
- Submit a “tag” request via this form. Each tag represents one child.
- Stop by the school (M-F, 8am-2pm) at the office window located in the south parking lot.
- Call (206-252-4080).
- Email Lauri McVicar (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Kristina Bartleson (kebartleson@seattleschools.
Gifts are due by December 7th. Please do not wrap the gifts, but we do ask that you include a roll of wrapping paper and scotch tape if your budget allows.
Thank you so much for your support of our community — this program means so much to so many of our families!
General PTA Meetings are held quarterly. Parents and teachers are encouraged to attend. If you have any questions, email email@example.com
Our next quarterly meeting is January
Fundraising is a large part of what the BTK-8 PTA does in support of our school. This fall we will have a virtual auction, which is our major fundraiser. Stay tuned for more details. We are also exploring other events.
Volunteer contributions of time and talent strengthens the school community and benefits every student at Broadview Thomson.
We support our families, staff, teachers, students, community and each other. Membership in the PTA has many benefits, and there are usually scholarships available.
Everyone is welcome in the BT PK-8 PTA!
